Ques. Is there a negative marking for SSC CGL?
Ans: Yes there is a provision for negative marking in SSC CGL 2022 exam. For Tier 1 every incorrect response will result in a deduction of 0.50 marks. In Tier 2, There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.

Ans: The salary varies for every level. For pay level 4, the salary ranges from INR 25550- 81100. The profiles in this salary bracket include Tax Assistants, Sub Inspectors and Upper Division Clerks. For pay level 5 which includes Auditors and Accountants, the salary ranges between INR 29200-92300. The pay level 6 which includes Sub Inspector(NIA), Divisional Accountant, Statistical Investigator Grade-II, Assistant/ Superintendent among others has a salary range of INR 35400-112400. Ques. Which is more difficult between SSC CGL and CAT?
Ans: Between SSC CGL and CAT, the latter can be considered more difficult as the level of question in CAT is tough. Ans: No. CPT is not compulsory. Only those candidates who are willing to work as Excise Inspector, Income Tax Assistant, ASO, Preventive Officer and Examiner need to qualify for CPT in SSC CGL. All other posts do not require CPT and candidates would be eligible for recruitment to those posts.
